Born on July 21, 2013, in Oswego, New York, Connor’s life was defined by kindness, enthusiasm, and a joyful spirit that touched countless people throughout his young years. Connor was a student at Maine-Endwell Middle School, where he quickly became known for his vibrant personality and ability to bring happiness to those around him. Teachers, classmates, and friends remember him as a young man who could brighten any room with his smile, sense of humor, and caring nature. His willingness to include others and his gift for making people laugh earned him the admiration and affection of many. Athletics played a significant role in Connor’s life. He was a dedicated competitor who proudly represented Flash and Coal-Miner Soccer Clubs while also participating in Maine-Endwell Baseball, Wrestling, and Soccer programs. Earlier in his athletic journey, he played travel baseball with the Southern Tier Stingers. Coaches and teammates remember Connor not only for his talent and determination but also for his sportsmanship, positive attitude, and love of teamwork. Outside of sports, Connor embraced the joys of childhood with boundless energy. He enjoyed fishing, riding his bicycle with friends, playing video games, and spending quality time with family. He especially loved simple comforts, including his favorite meals of ice cream and spaghetti with meatballs. These cherished moments now serve as treasured memories for those who were fortunate enough to share them with him. Connor was preceded in death by his father, Zachary Verdoliva, paternal great-grandfather Ronald Verdoliva Sr., and maternal great-grandparents Geraldine and Bruce Whitney. He is survived by his devoted parents, Ashley Deveney and Nicholas Tellefsen, along with grandparents, extended family members, cousins, teammates, classmates, and many friends who loved him dearly. The overwhelming support from the community reflects the profound impact Connor had during his life. His laughter, compassion, and positive spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him. While his passing brings unimaginable sorrow, his legacy of friendship, kindness, and joy will endure in the countless lives he touched.
